An undervalued garden which lacked any features of interest. 

Brief
To create a large terrace for entertaining close to the house, to overcome the awkward changes in level from the terrace to the rest of the garden, a summerhouse and an area for a shed and composting formed part of the brief.

Solutions
There is a large circular terrace in stone to compliment the house style. It makes the most of the south facing aspect and has plenty of room for entertaining. There are also a series of stone ramps to provide easy access over differing levels for garden equipment. A summerhouse and sculpture create focal points of interest and encourage full use of the garden. Reclaimed oak beams behind the raised brick seat bring height, interest and dimension as well as providing a framework for climbing plants.
