Schools Play Area Services

Rebecca provides flexible play areas which are multifunctional and can be used by children in limitless ways, feeding their imagination, creativity and curiosity. It is much more than a scattering of different pieces of play equipment. The play spaces respond to the child’s needs rather than controlling and directing what the child should do.

Consultation and Design
Initial consultation is undertaken with all those involved to establish the needs of those who will be using the area.

A sketch design is produced which is then developed through further consultation to a masterplan to ensure that the finished design reflects the needs of those who will be using it. An approximate budget estimate can produced to provide an indication of the total construction costs.

Managed construction
Space 2 Place works with trusted Contractors, which Rebecca has worked with and known for many years and have plenty of experience constructing play areas.

Working Drawings and Specifications for all phases of the project are produced to enable it to be constructed. Space 2 Place can also prepare the necessary tender documents and Conditions of the Contract to enable contractors to prepare their tender.

They are invited to tender for the work and the winning contractor is awarded the contract. The contract is a Standard Form of Contract between Client and Contractor and is prepared to protect the interests of both parties.

Periodic visits can be made to inspect the construction work and check that the necessary progress and quality is being achieved. You are informed of progress throughout the job.
